An engineering graduate by education, Aparna Patel’s journey began far from fashion. Growing up in Gondia, Maharashtra, she developed an early appreciation for textiles—often draping her mother’s saris and gravitating toward pieces of exceptional quality and character.
A creative spirit at heart and a sari aficionado, Aparna explored several ventures before choosing to follow her passion. That pursuit became Arishi Studio in 2000.
What began personally has since evolved into a globally loved brand, shaped by her vision, artistic sensibility and unwavering commitment to authenticity.
